Top Navigation and Maps Apps on iOS in Oceania: Q3 2024

In the third quarter of 2024, the iOS platform in Oceania saw significant activity among the top navigation and maps applications. According to data from Sensor Tower, these apps demonstrated varying trends in downloads, revenue, and active users.

Google Maps maintained a robust presence with weekly downloads fluctuating between 27K and 34K. The app's active user base remained strong, starting at approximately 2.9M and ending the quarter just shy of 3M.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic exhibited a gradual increase in weekly downloads from around 20K to over 27K by the end of September. Active users displayed a slight decrease, moving from 517K to 514K over the quarter.

Google Earth saw weekly downloads hover between 8K and 9K, while its active user count remained stable around the 32K mark throughout the quarter.

Polarsteps - Travel Tracker experienced a modest range of weekly downloads, peaking at 3.6K in early September. The active user base grew steadily from 11.6K to 12.7K over the quarter.

Lastly, Speedometer GPS: Speed Tracker showed fluctuating weekly downloads, reaching a low of 999 in late August, before rebounding to 1.9K by the end of September. The app's weekly revenue peaked at $2.8K in mid-August, with active users rising from 12.9K to 14.7K over the quarter.
